Joel Ruppel, D.C.

Joel Ruppel D.C. was born and raised in central Wisconsin, but has been a resident of Colorado since 2007. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award.

Dr. Ruppel is certified in many chiropractic techniques and physiotherapies, but his true passion is complementing chiropractic care by adding soft-tissue work. He is advanced certified in Active Release Techniques, the gold standard in soft-tissue care, to provide a whole-body focus and properly address stubborn problem areas.

Dr. Ruppel is also a twelve year veteran of the United States Army where he served as both a heavy construction equipment operator and a combat engineer. He served three tours in Iraq and credits his success to the strong work ethic he learned in the military. He loves spending time with his five beautiful children.

Trier Abeyta, NP-C

Trier Abeyta, NP-C, is a family medicine nurse practitioner who cares for patients of all ages. Through preventive care, she helps her patients maintain their overall well-being and offers expert guidance for acute and chronic health conditions. Trier earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a family nurse practitioner focus. Today, she stays current on nursing best practices through a professional membership with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Trier was called to the medical profession out of a desire to help people take ownership of their health. She helps patients improve their quality of life by making healthy lifestyle choices with a focus on whole-person care. Trier will devote all of her expertise to helping you maintain your overall wellness in body, mind, and spirit. Whether you need routine preventive care or support for acute or chronic illness, she will work with you to understand your needs and goals to help you feel whole at every age.

Trier devotes time to her two children as well as her faith when not seeing patients. She also enjoys staying healthy and active through hiking and weight training.
